Adventure A New skills based
T1soccer or skills-based soccer is a new interesting evolutionary game of soccer that was found in Uganda. It is derived from Association football and designed to be played by skilled soccer players. T1 stands for “Twenty 1st century.” A Ugandan born Tebandeke Ronald was involved in the foundation of the game.
It is designed to be played on a small artificial turf pitch of overall dimensions 20meters long and 12meters wide, with six players for each team. There are two kinds of goals scored in the game, which include the common goals and Golden goals (high profile goals). There are very small goals used and no goalie.
The game was mainly created to improve and guide talents of skilled soccer players through improving their skills creation capabilities and make more value of skills. It is designed in a way that provides a mild room for skilled players to extract their skills and also meet pleasures of expressing them in T1soccer sanctioned games.
Skilled soccer players are recognized to be the teachers, skills creators and entertainers of soccer, according to Ronald. Ronaldinho Gaucho is one of the greatest and most popular skilled soccer players in the world. He is well known for his incredible skills and flair that mesmerized fans around the world. The game we see today has much owe to him, many players around the world are influenced to play soccer with skills, speed and flair on and off the pitch.
However, today soccer has turned out to be a game of less individualism, and this has been a technical impact that skilled players are not able to freely express their created skills. And besides gaining weight and losing form, this is one of the reasons as to why Ronaldinho’s career dwindled at FC Barcelona where he was playing as an attacking midfielder, where certain changes came in after the appointment of Pep Guardiola as a new manager at the club way back in 2008. Skilled players love playing as complete ball players since they mostly tend to depend on skills to challenge opponents by being more unpredictable. These are some of the imbalances in soccer that T1soccer can address.
T1soccer was designed in two ways that skilled players would find it beneficial. It was designed as a training program where players would improve their ball control skills and skills creation capabilities, and also designed as a skills-based game where they would compete to win games.
The game was studied and approved by the Ugandan Ministry of Education and Sports. “We are greatly impressed with the game’s talent development potential, which is greatly useful in a country with abundant talent potential like Uganda. It is a really great game which will indeed bring pride to the country.” they said in their remarks.
